Worley – Kemerton Power Station CCTV System

Project Overview

Better Telco Solutions (BTS) was engaged by Worley to design, supply, and install a high-performance CCTV system at the Kemerton Power Station in Western Australia.

The facility supplies power to major industrial operations in the region, including the South32 Worsley Alumina refinery, making reliability and visibility across the site critical.

A key outcome of this project was the ability to deliver 42 unique camera angles and image streams using just 13 physical cameras. This was achieved through the strategic use of multi-sensor camera technology and intelligent system design.

Scope of Works

- Installation of 13 IP CCTV cameras (multi-sensor and fixed)
- Centralised Video Management System (VMS)
- Dedicated CCTV network design and implementation
- Structured cabling and PoE infrastructure

Coverage included:
- Entry and access points
- Office and admin areas
- Electrical cabinets and switchgear
- Transformer and plant zones

The system utilised multi-lens and fixed cameras to maximise coverage and minimise blind spots.
